Virtual Talk with Kathy Horn, Cofounder & Creative Director of Hunt, Gather
She co-founded Hunt, Gather five years ago. She was burned out on agency life, after spending almost two decades in shops big and small, on accounts b2c and b2b, working her way up from copywriter to creative director. As a CD, she missed actually creating, so she went back to where she was happiest. At HG, she wears a lot of hats and likes it that way. And she’s surrounded by others who do, as well.
Hunt, Gather is made up of a tribe of makers and doers: designers, writers, strategists, developers, producers… pretty much all the folks you’d find at a traditional agency. Except we’re not. We call ourselves an ‘unagency’ because we do things a little differently. For one, we’re transparent with our clients. We’re also those rare unicorns that can come up with big ideas and actually make them happen. On-time. On budget. Without any bs or bureaucracy.
About E4 Virtual Talks
As part of our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, E4 Youth is expanding our online programming to provide weekly access to guest speakers from within the creative, technology and entrepreneurial sectors. We particularly want to hear from diverse professionals that can serve as role models for our students which are primarily creative youth of color ages 16 – 22.
