Chanel DeVaughn

Hi, My name is Chanel DeVaughn. My friends call me Chanizzle. I was born here in Austin, Tx at St. David’s hospital. My birthday is November 28, 1994. I am currently 17 years old and I’m a senior at John B. Connally High School. I’ve been an employee at H-E-B for almost a year now. I have one brother and a dog. My dog is a Great Dane and his name is Sinatra. This is the only family I have in Austin. I also have a boyfriend Tyron. We’ve been together for over a year now but he’s been my high school sweetheart. It took me forever to meet his family but I’m glad I finally did. His son is amazing.

What am I? A socialist. My personality is quite loud. By the way if you didn’t know, I’m fabulous. If you’re in a room with me for a whole class period you’ll get to know me. I’m nice, friendly and I’m not around the bush. If I want to find something out, ill ask. I also like to dance and party.

I’m a Varsity cheerleader at Connally. I have been on varsity for 3 years. I listen to lot types of music, mostly Hip-Hop and Rap & r&b.

When I graduate from high school, I am going to major is technical engineering and minor in pharmacy assistance. My college is undecided. My dream college is the University of Hawai’i in Manoa. My realistic choice is Texas State. They both have a great cheer squad (Hawai’i is better) therefore I’m also trying to get a cheer scholarship. I’m currently applying for various athlete scholarships and applying for college.

As of right now, I am trying to focus on balancing school, work & cheer. Graduation is going to come up soon. Class of 2013, It’s a wack year but a live class!
