End of Year Challenge: Know the Past, Create a Better Future
Seasons greetings,
We hope you are all enjoying the holidays, and thank you for your continued support of E4 Youth!
Giving Tuesday has arrived, and we are proud to announce our new campaign: “Know Your Past, Create a Better Future.”
Without understanding our personal history or the history of the communities we belong to, it is impossible to reach our full potential as students, educators, creatives, and professionals. Our goal with this campaign is to empower youth of color with the digital, technical, and creative skills to understand their histories and craft their futures in the creative industries.
As part of “Know Your Past,” we want to host five workshops that teach K-8th grade youth digital storytelling skills and the importance of preserving local history. In addition, we aim to expand our high school mentoring program so E4 Youth can collaborate with more schools and teachers. Furthermore, we are striving to grow our network of creative/tech professionals and potential corporate partners to continue supporting creative youth of color.
We need your help to make this mission a reality. If you would like to, please consider supporting us with a financial contribution or getting involved with E4 Youth as a mentor, speaker, or teacher.
In addition, please consider joining our network of creative professionals and corporate partners. Please feel free to spread the word about “Know Your Past, Create a Better Future” with those you know.
Together, we can promote diversity and help young creatives of color get seen, heard, and hired.
Thank you very much, and enjoy the holidays!
Your E4 Youth Family
