Know the Past, Create the Future!

We’re issuing an end of year challenge to raise $5000 (Donate Now!) to double the reach of our Digital Storytelling Program next Spring from 500 to 1000 K – 8 students across Central Texas!

Last year (video recap above), we piloted a series of Digital Storytelling Workshops at local K – 8 schools featuring virtual and augmented reality content highlighting Austin’s rich Black cultural heritage.

It was powerful to see our college-aged staff use technology to get younger students excited about local history and the idea of using these innovative tools to tell their own stories.
