Current Events

1. The Chicago teacher strike is about almost all the teachers in Chicago who did not go to work because they were saying that they were not getting paid enough and not good teacher evaluations.

2. This teacher strike would effect the students by them not having anywhere to go and not being able to learn in school because the majority of the teachers are on strike.

3. What I remember of the 9/11 attacks is that many people died and that there were some people who are now known as heros because they helped save people from the building however it cost them their lives. I also remember that the plane that was supossed to hit the pentagon; hit in the middle of a field instead because the people on the plane took action and overtook the plane but to the cost of their lives.

4. I believe young people should know about the election because they need to be aware of what is happening around them because the leader the people choose will effect their future. This effects my life in the same way and also with me being able to vote in two years I will need to pay attention more and more to politics so that I will be able to help decide what is best for the people and the country.
