It’s soooooooo haaaaaarrrrd to say goodbye to Booker T

Today is the last day of our “It Could Be U” Camp at Booker T Washington Terraces. The camp started off a little rocky as most first weeks do, but I think it has ended with a flourish. As I write, every group Media Arts, Business and STEM (Science. Technology. Engineering. Mathematics) are finishing up there final projects and I cant’ wait to see the camp come together in our end of the week Capstone Event. The Capstone Event will mark the culmination of our camp where we’ll have a deliciously catered lunch and wonderful presentations with camp participants, family and friends. While this may be the end of our week at Booker T, I hope this is just the beginning of a longtime relationship with the Booker T Washington Community.

To all of our Booker T Washington kids and families: We loved working with you and are so grateful that you gave us some of your time and a lot of your energy, smiles, ideas and inspiration. We’ll be thinking of you next week when we’re working with kids and families at Meadowbrook and we’ll see you soon!!
