MULTIMEDIA: means many ways of communicating
example-multimedia messaging (txt, e-mail)
VISUAL DESIGN: focus on visual communication and presentation
example-typography, visual arts, and page layouts.
EXPERIENTAL LEARNING: making meaning from direct experience
example- going to the zoo and learning through observation and interaction within the zoo.
DIGITAL PORTOFOLIO: things like inputted text, images, multimedia, blog entries and hyperlinks. (self expression)
example:something someone has done over a period of time.
THESE EXAMPLES RELATE TO MY SKILLS BECAUSE I LIKE TO PLAY WITH A LOT OF TECHNOLOGY THINGS LIKE COMPUTERS AND CAMERAS.
SOMETHING IMPORTANT ABOUT MYSELF THAT I LEARNED WOULD BE THAT IM A GOOD LISTENER I ENJOY TALKING TO PEOPLE ABOUT THINGS THEY NORMALLY WOULDN’T HAVE A CONVERSATION ABOUT…A LOT OF MY FRIENDS ACTUALLY DO TELL ME A BUNCH OF WEIRD THINGS THAT MOST PEOPLE WOULD NEVER BELIEVE.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO LEARN OR EXPERIENCE IN THIS CLASS OVER THE YEAR IS…LEARNING HOW TO USE THE SOFTWARE BETTER TO MAKE SOMETHING COME OUT THE WAY I WANT IT AND NOT BE SO CLUELESS ABOUT IT AND BE ABLE TO DO IT AGAIN IF I WAS ASKED TO WITHOUT HAVING TO HAVE THE STEPS OF WHAT I DID THE LAST TIME REPEATED TO ME.
IM PRETTY SURE I WILL BE ABLE TO TELL IF I LEARNED SOMETHING BY THE END OF THE YEAR BECAUSE NOW I DON’T REALLY KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT THE SOFTWARE AND IT’S HARD TO USE SO WHEN I LEARN HOW TO USE IT IT WILL BECOME MUCH EASIER.
